The Farmer Was There. I Just Couldn't Find Him.

I have a lemon farm in Nellore. I needed cow dung — fresh, natural, from a real farmer nearby.

So I searched. Google. ChatGPT. Anthropic Claude. Perplexity. Every tool I knew. They gave me shops, packaged fertilizer brands, organic stores. Not one of them could give me a single farmer's contact — someone with cows, ten kilometres away, willing to sell.

That person existed. I just couldn't find him.

The Gap Nobody Filled

Every village in Andhra Pradesh has farmers with things to sell — dung, fodder, fish, honey, seeds. And people nearby who need exactly those things. They live minutes apart. But without a simple way to connect, the transaction doesn't happen in time — or you end up asking one person, who points to another, who points to another, before you finally reach the right contact.

The gap wasn't supply or demand. It was a bridge.

Why Nothing Worked

Most platforms are built for people who type fluently, browse comfortably, and download apps without thinking. Village farmers don't have time for that.

But they all have WhatsApp. They send photos every day. They send voice messages in Telugu. WhatsApp is already part of their life — it just needed to be pointed at the right problem.

What Tryat Does

A farmer sends a photo on WhatsApp. Tryat identifies the item, prepares a listing, and makes it visible to nearby buyers. No app. No form. No English needed.

When someone is interested, Tryat connects them directly. No broker. No commission. The full value stays with the farmer.

If Tryat had existed when I was searching, I would have found that farmer in seconds.

That is why we built it.
